My fridge is sparkling! Jay took the kids outside and I actually had time to clean the whole thing. Here are some things I found:
~Kumquats. They looked cute in the grocery store. But what, exactly, are you supposed to do with them?
~Cilantro. Can't they sell this in smaller bunches. I can never use it all. I always end up with a bag of green goo where the cilantro was supposed to be.
~Plastic produce bags. Hate these. Too many. Must buy reusable mesh bags.
~Film. Film!! ha!
~Kitty Zoloft stashed in the fridge door. Waiting for cat to start urinating on the floor again so I can administer (otherwise I'm going to have wasted $45)
~Three kinds of caramel sauce. Fran's, See's and Smuckers. Conducted taste test of all three, the most recent of which has been in there for at least two years. Conclusion: Fran's doesn't do well in long term cold storage. Seemed promising at first, but left a bitter aftertaste. Smucker's wasn't bad. The See's was still todiefor.
Have you ever seen such a paradigm of organization and cleanliness?

I am envious! My pantry is crying out for liberation. Soon, soon, soon....once we have some sort of schedule where I can focus. Keep up the good work and words!

Must be something in the air, I just cleaned out our fridge too! I was telling Mom about it and she laughed and showed me this. It's good that you could still identify the kumquats. I had a few mystery items in the fruit drawer. Had I inspected them more closely, I probably could have figured out what they were but it wasn't worth it.
