Today, J. and I went on a five-hour snorkeling trip from Maui to Lana'i. Here was our view for part of the inter-island cruise.
Big, guy asses versus beautiful Hawaiian scenery. Yeah, I craned my head a lot to see around these particular bums.
Also, I am an idiot. I forgot that I get seasick. This is how I spent my time on the catamaran:
Finally, Happy Birthday, J!
So glad we could spend it together in Hawaii.
Isn't he a cutie?

I totally would have puked.

Oh I feels for ya. I totally got sick too - even snorkeling after I got set up with the boat ride. Bleh. I am not a fish.

Man, you are KILLING me with those photos. Even with the two oversized guy bums.

You didn't puke! As someone who totally would have puked, I understand how awesome it is that you didn't. Congratulations on retaining all of your stomach contents. Valuable, they are.

Oh no! There's no worse feeling than sea sickness.

Try the seasickness wrist bands if you get on another boat again. They have little accupressure points for your wrist, and they worked wonders for me when I was pregnant and riding on a bus through very very winding countryside in Greece (after an overnight ferry). I hope you have a wonderful trip otherwise!!

Sometimes puking makes it all better. Sometimes...not always.

He is. :)
Sorry about the seasickness. If it helps, I would have been green around the gills before the boat even set sail.

Sorry you were seasick!
Happy birthday to J!

The only real seasickness I've ever had was on a catamaran. Sorry you were miserable -- have a mai tai, they cure A LOT.
