This morning I was reminded of the day's beauty and the fact that shooting some photos wouldn't be a bad idea. So, I took advantage of the sun and headed to Gasworks, a strange (but very cool) park that used to be the site of the Seattle Gas Light Company.
It was just what I needed.
In the evening, you can get some spectacular shots of the city, but in late morning, the sun is too far East to illuminate it properly.
So, I focused on the structures.
And then, because I somehow like to collect pictures of my coffee:

GasWorks Park was one of my favorite spots for a date, or a good game of tag, or flying kites.

What a gorgeous day today. I love how sometimes we get a reminder of just how lucky we are to live here, and that if we hold out, winter will end and we'll have lots more time outside. Ahhh. I was a big grump but found myself with over an hour to run, and once that was over, felt very peaceful. Sun is good.

Nice shots! Love the one shot from a low angle with the big fat rivets in the foreground.
