The Dreamer

Nice poem... I can relate to it.
PS. I REALLY like your Greener Grass postings. I watch your blog like a hawk waiting for them.

Nora

You're a poet, too. Amazing!

All Adither

Ack, no! Not a poet. Not at all.

But, thank you.

slouching mom

this is so sweet, a.!

Kristy

I think that maybe when we keep feeling this way, it can be hard to step back and see that anything can be done except just waiting...for the kids to be older, for winter to end, for our "real lives" to start. But that's not really any good. I think it's kind of like when you first become a mom, and there's that part of you that resists admitting that you can never again be the person you were. It's really the resistance, not the circumstances, that is the problem.

Tonya

I love your posts. They just hit home. About Kristy's comment, I just have to say "Wow, that is so true!" I thought it was just me that felt that way.

Cactus Petunia

Lovely sentiments to read on a dreary monday...

kcinnova

I think Kristy has a good point here...
There is so much we want to do and then there are the things we really must do and the things that we are called to do...

papergirl

I wish we could have ridden bikes together back then.... great photo!

All Adither

Oh papergirl, me too! But at least we found each other when we did.
