Yup. It is. I took an art appreciation class years ago and I still remember the first assignment---Report back at the next class session something you saw that was "ordinary", yet beautiful. A leaf blowing in the breeze, your tractor tire up there, a pile of leaves, tire tracks in the mud...It really opened my eyes up to looking at things a new way. Another blogger said one time to always carry your camera, because you never know what you might see in everyday things. I have never considered myself "artsy", not one bit, but it's fun to look at things with "new eyes" every once in a while. My husband sat outside our apartment during a storm not too long ago and took some pictures. When I asked how they turned out, he said "Not too good, the stairs were in the way." When I looked at the pics, the stairs were not in the way, they actually "made" the shots, in my eyes. It's all in how you look at it.
Well, anyways, thanks for letting me ramble! I'm off to find art while cleaning! Cuz you just never know...:D

YES!

Indeed it is.

I'm volunteering in my daughter's class to teach Art Discovery, and appreciate this post. Saw you at Mama Milton's - I like your blog! I'll be back.
