Here's a photo I took last weekend. It's kind of a tradition, on Saturday mornings, for the kids to stop by the Fremont troll on the way back from swimming lessons. So here they are, damp and also sandy from climbing up onto his hand.
I wonder what they're conferencing about.

When we visited Seattle we purposely trekked by public transport from downtown to the troll (and were rewarded with the bonus of the great neighbourhood and groovy shops nearby). I later showed a friend a photo of me on the troll and she took a strong dislike to the troll. To me the photo was full of such good memories I couldn't imagine finding the troll anything but adorable.
