Just some old photos I found at my parents' house last month. Me. Summer. 1972?
I was dark and tangled even back then.
Insert smiley emoticon here.
These were taken on Lake Charlevoix. We rented a little cottage for June, July, and August. I remember the cottage as a damp, squat, rectangle made of bricks. It was across the road from my grandparents' golf course and still holds kind of legendary status in my memory. I don't know if my sister had been born yet. But I look like I could use a sibling.

i love this early 70's triptych. and... what a cool observation- the "off-centeredness" does seem to beg for another denim shorts clad, feathered hair wearin' kiddo. thanks for posting these.

I think I may have looked that way too, in 1976...before my brother showed up and wrecked my life forever (kidding).

I love these pictures. They remind me of my mother's old photo albums. I used to sit and flip through the pages of those albums imagining what life must have been like in that far away land where all of the colors are muted and everyone is wearing such ridiculous clothes.
