Some things I am currently loving:
Pictures drawn by my kids. Especially when they illustrate their love for me.
Shopping carts with cup holders. It's the only thing that makes fetching groceries endurable.
The holds section at the library. Seriously, I'm hardly spending money on books at all anymore.
Matches. My big, plastic candle lighter ran out of juice, and I've rediscovered the simple pleasure of lighting a match. The scratch, snap, and sizzle.
My new slippers. I finally had to trash my beloved old standbys, which were embarrassingly ratty.

I love grocery shopping. It makes me feel so forlorn to realize that not everybody savors it like I do. I mean, really! The thrill of spending money AND of getting stuff to eat? It rocks my simple world.

While unpacking after our move (something I confess that I am still doing in bits and pieces), I have rediscovered treasured drawings from my children. ♥love♥
There are no cupholders here in my grocery stores, but one of them (the military Commissary) does have little cups of free coffee at the entrance. It's the little things that make all the difference.

Library holds are the best! Our library recently had to raise the fee from 50 cents to a dollar but it is still the best reading deal ever.

Love them, too! And you!

Only you could string together five words that so brilliantly capture the pleasure of a simple action like striking a match.

Oooooooohhhh, I want some lovely blue-head matches! I wonder if they're even remotely available in Australia. XD
That's a very sweet drawing, too! Children's artwork is very special. :D
