Oh, it is so good to know I am not alone... But, your version has more humor and pathos. And, more interesting things to eat.

I feel for you. It's got to stop at some point, right? Like when our kids are in High School?

I love this! I think we could write an entire book of school mornings, with contributors from all over the country, and everyone would feel so much better. And teachers without kids would understand better the effort it took just to get there.

I don't miss those days. Mine are teens now. Once they're awake and in motion, all I do is stand-by to kiss them before they leave.
