Congratulations! And what a great cover!

I'm enjoying your story so far, Angie. You've got a great thread of humour through your writing!

One thing I notice, however, was there's been a formatting error: the dialog doesn't start on a new line, so it's all run together. I hope Amazon allows you to upload a fixed version. :)

Congratulations! The cover is gorgeous, and I'm going to upload it the next time I get on my Kindle and will post a review for you on Amazon.

This is a huge accomplishment and you deserve a glass of bubbly or three. Maybe even a slice of chocolate cake.

Thanks everyone! Ashlee, that's really weird. I had a professional format it. Does this happen on all the dialogue, or just in some places?

Angie, I couldn't put it down! Well, I had to stop once to use the toilet --TMI -- but other than that, dinner prep had to wait while I finished your book. Great job!

Since I prefer realistic but toned-down language, etc., this was a perfect read for me. And yes, I recommend it for anyone age 15+ (or even younger, if she was mature for her age).

I love that your characters were shown as multi-dimensional. No one was purely good or purely evil, and some of the gray areas of life were treated in a nonjudgmental manner.

I will confess here that I have known of 2 other e-book authors but you are the first one I have wanted to download the book (and since I don't have a Kindle, also the apps to my computer). I poked around looking for more e-books last night, but nothing looked as good as your book that I had just finished. So from someone who has always been skeptical about reading books in electronic format (and who tends to be a little picky about what she reads), I give a hearty CONGRATULATIONS! You have a winner!
Keep writing and publishing, and I might have to get a Kindle. :)

Ashlee

Angie, now that I've finished reading, I'm pretty certain the formatting problem only happening in the first chapter (chapter 2 doesn't have any spoken dialogue, and chapter 3 starts out fine, and I don't remember having any troubles for the rest of the book).

It was a really great, honestly written book, and I'm glad I read it! My teenage years were pretty far removed from the experiences Emily and Trix had, but I could still get into the story and sympathise with the characters making their way towards adulthood. Wonderful work! :)

I just gifted this book to my 17yo daughter. Not sure how quickly she will read it with SATs and such coming up. But, I will let you know what her review is.
