I suddenly cannot stop blogging. Perhaps it's the idea that in a few days I'll be in a communist country from which I'll only be able to get to my favorite sites if I make my iphone's VPN work. I don't know. But let's roll with it, shall we?
Today I took Max and Claire to a new pumpkin patch and we spent an absurd amount of time there. Here are my favorite shots from our hours and hours and hours in the country.

Oh I miss this. Even when my kids didn't want to go pumpkin hunting any more, I was able to go on school field trips. But now that I am no longer working as an aide I may have to go to a pumpkin patch by myself.

Oooh, where did you go? It looks like a fabulous place. And of course, you took beautiful photographs.
There is a really nice place in the Nisqually Valley off I-5, at the same exit as the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. They also have animals and the barn was built in 1865.
I'm excited for your trip! Enjoy!

Those kittens! So adorable, and so right for a country setting. I'm smitten.

Amazing!!! I found your site on Yahoo poking
around for something totally unrelated, now I'm gonna need to go back and read the archives. Good bye spare time this morning, but this was a really great find.

First of all I would like to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out. I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thanks!
